Tbilisi, May 15. The Georgian bentonite plant “AskanGel” has announced the commissioning of a new complex for the separation and classification of bentonite. The production line allows for the output of 6 target fractions—ranging from large granules (2-5 mm) for the construction industry to ultra-fine powders (<44 µm) for pharmaceuticals and drilling fluids. This solution enables consumers to significantly (by up to 20%) reduce material consumption due to the precise match of the particle size distribution to their process requirements.
